Starting September 1997, ASIAA and the Graduate Department of Astronomy at NCU is hosting a joint Colloquium/Journal Club series where we alternate the locations of our Friday afternoon colloquiums/journal clubs. At the Academia Sinica, the colloquium/journal club is held in Room 428 (4th floor) of the Biochemistry builing, where ASIAA is temporarily located. At NCU, the colloquium/journal club is held in Room 1013 (Conference Room; 10th floor) of the Science IV Building. The Colloquium starts at 2:30 pm, and is normally followed by a Journal Club at 3:45 pm. All are invited to stay for afternoon tea after the presentations. Separate from the joint ASIAA/NCU series, ASIAA will occasionally host its own colloquia for visitors on brief stays. These colloquia also will be advertised on this page, and scheduled at times convenient for the speaker.
