Since ASIAA is an institute in the Republic of China, naturally our official language is Chinese. However, ASIAA intends to become a leading research institute in the international community, and we expect that many of the visitors to our web pages may not read Chinese. Therefore, we are trying to provide both Chinese and English versions in our web site.

Nevertheless, it is impractical and time-consuming to prepare all the documents in both languages. Especially, frequently updated pages and temporary pages will be written in one language whichever is convenient. Hence, we hope the readers understand that some pages are available in only one language.

Also, we would like to mention that the working language of ASIAA is English. In all seminars, colloquia, and meetings, English is the standard method of communication.
