Numerical simulation of a dusty protoplanetary disk
Numerical simulation of a dusty protoplanetary disk with an embedded 2-Earth mass protoplanet, using a modified version of the PLUTO code (Chen & Lin, 2018). The planet carves a single, shallow gap in the gas, but opens a double, deep gap in the dust. Simulation carried out on the TIARA High Performance Computing cluster.
