The instrumentation research in ASIAA started with the establishment of the receiver laboratory to support the Sub-Millimeter Array (SMA) in 1995. The receiver lab is responsible for the construction, testing, and integration of the receiver systems for the two SMA antennas contributed by ASIAA. This had marked the starting point of instrumentation efforts in ASIAA for the years to come. |
