Yun-Hsin Huang
Yun-Hsin studies the properties of brightest cluster galaxies in the COSMOS field, trying to understand how they become a special class of galaxies. She also works on a project to estimate the mass of galaxy clusters using their large scale clustering.
Hung-Jin Huang
Hung-Jin works on statistical properties of radio galaxies. She is trying to quantify the fraction of galaxies that are radio loud as a function of halo mass, as well as to understand the difference between RGs and other types of AGNs.
Hao-Yuan Duan
Hao-Yuan's thesis project is to develop a new way to estimate the mass of clusters, based on the spatial profiles of total galaxy luminosity and number. It will be very useful for large surveys like HSC and DES.
