Due to the huge success of the first black hole shadow press conference, the AS Headquarter decided to have the main theme of “Black Hole” in the 22nd AS Open House on October 26, 2019, which was the first time to have the main theme.

| We prepared a lot of attractions in our booth, and huge number of people enjoyed our attractions. The image of the black hole shadow was printed on stairs, and huge number of people took their own pictures. The plenary talks were given by Academician Paul Ho and Dr. Ming-Tang Chen, and the panel session was given by them together with the AS President James Liao. The Open House turned out to be a great success, and record breaking 220,000 people have visited the Open House!!! |
