RW Aur A from the X-Wind Point of View: General Features

Is FS Tau B Driving an Asymmetric Jet?
Yields of <sup>7</sup>Be, <sup>10</sup>Be, <sup>26</sup>Al, <sup>36</sup>Cl, <sup>41</sup>Ca, and <sup>53</sup>Mn for a chondritic chemistry and the spectral parameters p = 4 and <sup>3</sup>He/<sup>1</sup>H = 0.3. The yields are normalized to the experimental values, corresponding to the horizontal dotted line. For <sup>41</sup>Ca, we have adopted the initial value <sup>41</sup>Ca/<sup>40</sup>Ca = 3.9×10-7, more likely than the canonical ratio.

Magnetospheric Accretion and Ejection of Matter in Resistive Magnetohydrodynamic Simulations
Figure (a) shows the normalized line profiles of the Ne II 12.81um (blue), Ne III 15.55um (red), and the O I 6300 (black) lines for a X-Wind jet modeled for a typical T Tauri star, at an inclination angle of 45 degrees. Figure (b) shows the contribution of the Ne II line as a function of cylindrical distance to the jet axis.
Neon Fine-Structure Line Emission from the Outflows of Young Stellar Objects
Figure 1 shows DSS image of bright-rimmed cloud SFO21 whose ionizing star is located at 7 pc from the cloud. The arrow and diamond shows the direction of ionizing star and position of protostar, respectively. Figure 2 shows results of our numerical simulations. Panels from left to right indicate densities at the times t = 0, 6.3x10^4, and 9.6x10^4 year, respectively. Black line indicate ionization front. Initially, uniform cloud core is located at z = 2.5 pc. At t = 0, UV radiation turns on and illuminate from bottom side. Surface of the cloud is strongly compressed by ionization shock, and formation of next generation stars is expected due to its high density at head of the cloud.
Triggered Formation of Young Stars
The figure shows the density structures at 100 (top) and 1000 (bottom) years with four representative numbers n = 1, 2, 4, 6 (from left to right), which indicates the degree of anisotropy in ambient mass distribution.
Unified Model for Jets and Outflows from Young Stars
In numerical simulations of the star-disk system, after the relaxation, the disk is truncated at the truncation radius R_t. Position of the R_t is close to the line of balance of the disk ram pressure and the magnetic pressure, which is located between a central object and the disk inner radius.
Magnetospheric Accretion and Ejection of Matter in Resistive MHD Simulations
The HH211 molecular jet imaged with the SMA at 0.3” resolution. The CO, SiO, SO, and 0.85 mm continuum are red, green, blue, and orange (contours), respectively .

Research Interests

My research interests are broad, from theoretical Astrophysics and Magnetohydrodynamics, to chemistry, emission modeling and synthetic observations of the jet and outflow phenomena, cores, and disks, in star and planet formation. I have worked closely on the connection of the early star formation processes to the formation of planetary materials, meteorites, and the origins of Solar system. These are ultimately linked to the Astrobiology of the Universe and the Origins of Life.
