CFD-MHD(自2012年2月更名為計算天文物理,或簡稱CompAS)起源自中央研究院天文及天文物理研究所、中央研究院數學所以及台灣大學數學系共同合作的主題計畫,主要目標是要針對天文物理學問題而發展的高效能計算流體力學及磁流體力學程式碼。

我們已經根據精確/近似的黎曼解為基礎,成功發展了一套二/三維度的 Godunov 程式碼,主要功能包括自有重力、邊界的特徵分解以及邊界無反射現象。現已應用在兩項主要問題:螺旋星系內氣體盤的結構和演化,原恒星盤內的行星遷移效應。
