Magnified view of the cryogenic IF amplifier packaged with input/output microstrip lines and bypass capacitors. The chip size is 2mm×1mm. This device is designed for future wide-IF SMA SIS receiver. It provides more than 20dB gain when operating at 17.5K with power consumption of 20mW.
