In the dedication ceremony of AMiBA held in Oct 2006, the NTU President S.C. Lee officially announced that the AMiBA is named as the “Yuan Tseh Lee Array for Microwave Background Anisotropy” and presented the name plaque of the Array to AS President Yuan
